It's starting at 11am and will be held at the town hall
Thomas the Town Cat will be formally given his 'free' feline status tomorrow morning at Ramsey Town Hall.
A ceremony is taking place at 11am where he will be presented with a chain, made by local business Pink Seaweed and a seafood shell platter from local fishmonger Scales.
The commissioners agreed at its November board meeting to give the status to the cat to support charitable work organised by businesses in Ramsey.
Thomas has his own line of merchandise at one of the local shops and is a regular visitor to places across the town.
The local authority agreed to 'symbolically' give him the status to support charitable work which will be organised by the local businesses in Ramsey.
