Due to 'technical issue' impacting Manannan
A 'technical issue' has led to the cancellation of Manannan's Liverpool sailings this morning (27 July).
The Steam Packet Company says impacted passengers can 'amend their booking free of charge or can cancel the booking and receive a full refund'.
For those who were due to be on the 11:15am sailing from Liverpool to Douglas, there will be a coach transfer in place to accommodate passengers wishing to travel from Heysham this afternoon instead.
It will depart the Liverpool terminal at 11am; with the sailing from Heysham due to depart at 2:45pm.
Currently, this afternoon's sailings are still slated to go ahead, according to the company's website.
Meanwhile, G E White Ltd. has issued an update, confirming that 'due to the late cancellation of the Liverpool sailings there will be no newspapers arriving on the Island today'.
It says it will 'distribute a reduced supply on Monday'.
