
The Island's one of the happiest nations in the British Isles.
That's if the findings of a "State of the Nation" survey are to be believed.
Over 500 people contributed to the research, with 56% of participants rating their happiness at 8 out of 10 or above.
In the UK mainland that figure is closer to 35%
Alan Cooper, Lead consultant for Island-based company "Research Offshore" which carried out the work, says he believes the results are very reliable and believes it's not just down to people having financial security . . .
