
Youngsters and adults with learning difficulties are to benefit from a specialist sound and light therapy being offered in the Island later this year.
The Sound Learning Centre based in London is bringing its outreach programme here in August, thanks to funding from Manx Mencap.
The sound and light stimulation sessions have resulted in positive behaviour change among children with conditions like ADHD, Asperger's and autism.
The visit takes place in August and the Sound Learning Centre's principal Pauline Allen is in the Island this week to ensure the course meets the individual needs of those taking part.
Pauline says the therapy offers parents of children with challenging conditions, a way forward:
