Business sold and will be staying open
The Tea Junction in Douglas is set to stay open.
In April, the owners announced they wouldn't be renewing the lease and it'd be closing next year.
Now though, the business has been sold to the team behind The Boathouse in Port St Mary who plan to keep the same concept and branding.
They'll be taking over the running from October.
Posting on social media, current owners Mark and Jason say they're confident The Tea Junction will continue to thrive and serve as a much loved gathering place under the new leadership.
They've also thanked everyone for the unwavering support over the past nine years.
Meanwhile Haydn from The Boathouse says he's excited to be taking the reins.
