Manx Mencap is marking Learning Disability Awareness Week
The Isle of Man's expectations of people with learning disabilities are too low, according to a charity supporting that community here.
Manx Mencap is marking Learning Disability Awareness Week which starts today (Monday 16 June).
Its theme is 'Do you see me?', which aims to challenge perceptions and spotlight the meaningful contributions people with learning disabilities can make to society when given the opportunity.
