Energy transition adviser thinks it could benefit local economy
There are advantages of installing a second interconnector to the Isle of Man.
That's according to an energy transition advisor and the research director at Energy and Sustainability Centre (ESC) IoM.
In July last year Manx Utilities announced it was working on a variety of key projects which 'support the wider Isle of Man Government target of 100% decarbonised electricity by 2030'
One of the considerations was to include a second interconnector - David Quirk told Manx Radio another structure would be beneficial to the economy:
