Loss-making service to be cut
The Children’s Centre has announced its nursery provision for children under two years of age will come to a close on July 29.
The charity says the decision has been made extremely reluctantly and follows a detailed assessment of under-two nursery provision.
It showed the three nurseries offering the service are losing a substantial sum of money month after month.
The Children’s Centre says it simply cannot afford to lose income at this rate.
It has contacted all the parents affected by this decision and is giving them what help it can in the search for alternative child care.
