
As TT 2011 draws ever closer, the annual recruitment drive for marshals has begun.
It takes 500 members of the 'orange army' to cover the famous 37 and three quarter mile circuit.
Many people from the United Kingdom and further afield travel to the Island to offer their services, but more volunteers are required every year.
Chairman of the Isle of Man TT Marshals' Association Terry Holmes says, with the larger number of visitors, it's easier to find volunteers for the TT than the Manx Grand Prix.
But the numbers needed go up every year, and the events can't start until all the marshals are in place (play audio file):
