Weekend of celebrations come to a close
A weekend of celebrations to honour the centenary of the Royal British Legion will come to a close with a thanksgiving service this afternoon.
Guests of honour will be Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard and Lady Gozney and Chief Minister Howard Quayle.
It's taking place at St Georges Church in Douglas starting at 3pm.
Music will be provided by Castletown Silver Band, the Women in Song community choir with Karen Elliot, Lhon Dhoo male voice choir and a piper from Ellan Vannin Pipes and Drums.
The service is thought to be the only one taking place in the British Isles due to Covid-19 restrictions so it is being recorded to be posted on YouTube.
