Tesco has unveiled its plans for an Express store in Douglas town centre.
The supermarket chain is planning to set up a convenience shop in the old MEA unit of the Strand Shopping Centre.
A public exhibition laid out the store's plans to be open from 7am until 11pm daily and employ around 20 people.
If the store's application for an alcohol licence is approved, it could be open by September.
Tesco's corporate affairs manager Mark Thomas says the supermarket is also keen to stock as much local produce as possible:
