The Agriculture Minister is confident about the future relationship between the Isle of Man Meat Plant and Tesco.
Phil Gawne has been meeting store officials in London to try and find a solution to issues which have led to Tesco taking Manx meat off the shelves.
He says the main problems centres on the way the plant has cut is staff over the past 12 months which have led to failings with the way it complies with the rigorous standards the store imposes.
Mr Gawne says there is no question about the quality of the products but says Tesco has a duty to protect itself.
