There's good news for people with experience in the retail sector who have recently lost their jobs.
Following yesterday's announcement by Tesco of major expansion plans, the company has confirmed it will be looking to fill up to 250 new positions mainly from the local job market.
Plans include a mezzanine floor, allowing space for major expansion, and a near doubling of car parking spaces to 566, in a new decked car park.
The workforce would also almost double, from the current figure of 270, but store manager Andrew Lees says it would be a while before recruitment could begin:
