5% increase still 'lower' than private sector rental increases
Douglas Council says its social housing tenants who make an effort to pay their rent won’t be evicted from their homes.
The Department of Infrastructure has announced a five percent increase which will apply from April - a three-bed house will cost just over £6 more a week.

Devon Watson is the Chair of the Housing Committee; he says the increase means more can be spent on maintaining properties and fixing urgent issues.
