Clause in Equality Bill gives landlords advantage
An MHK says failure to alter part of a proposed bill could disadvantage Island tenants.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper believes a small clause in the Equality Bill, which is moving through the House of Keys, could lead to both younger and older people being discriminated against when they rent property.
He says it gives landlords a distinct advantage.
