Vacancies due to House of Keys elections and retirements
Ten local authorities across the Island are looking for candidates to step forward and stand in by-elections.
Some vacancies are historical due to resignations or not having enough people whilst others are because of the recent House of Keys election.
There are currently seats available in Arbory and Rushen, Ballaugh, Braddan, Garff's Laxey Ward, German, Michael, Peel, Ramsey, Port St Mary and Douglas Council's South Ward.
Most board have one empty seat, however, Ramsey Commissioners has three - one in its North Ward and two in its South Ward.
Likewise, Ballaugh, German, Michael and Port St Mary Commissioners all need two extra people to join.
A seat to represent the Arbory Ward on Arbory and Rushen Commissioners is empty due to the House of Keys, along with Garff's Laxey Ward and Peel Commissioners.
Residents wanting to stand can collect forms from their respective local authority and can be returned completed between 10am on 28 October and 1pm on 4 November.
If a contested election is needed at any of the local authorities then polling will take place on Thursday 3 December.
