Christian says 'they look like bomb sites'
Temporary car parks on brownfield sites in Douglas have been criticised for 'dragging the town down and stopping investment'.
Leases for the facilities are supposed to cease after two years, however, some 'temporary' car parks have been operating in the capital for more than a decade.
Council Leader David Christian says they look like 'bomb sites' and discourage development in the town.
He insists a clear message needs to be sent out:
Relatives seeking clarity over potential plans to relocate dementia patients
MHK calls for action over 'atrocious' road signage
Cruise passengers affected by downed railway lines
