NAHT ballot shows 97.5% support for latest proposals
One of the teaching unions involved in a dispute over pay and conditions with the education department has voted to accept a new pay offer.
The NAHT, which represents school leaders, held a ballot over the weekend, with 97.5% of those responding saying they are prepared to accept the latest proposals.
The turnout was 66.9%.
The offer comes following four weeks of negotiations between education unions and the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
