Language expert says it could attract post-grads
Teaching children Manx could attract them to stay in the Island after education, according to a linguist.
Adrian Cain has promoted the continuation of indigenous language through Culture Vannin for 13 years - with his achievements including the translation of children's books, and a Manx speakers' smartphone app.
Manx Gaelic will play a prominent role in tomorrow's Tynwald Day ceremony, although it has not been natively spoken here for over 40 years.
But Mr Cain says it still has an important role to play in society and education:
