Unions to meet with DESC despite pay increase
Further talks between education officials and the teaching unions will take place later this week.
The Isle of Man Government announced earlier this week that a 2.75% pay increase for teachers and school leaders had been agreed.
The Department of Education, Sport and Culture has been in dispute with several unions over pay and conditions, resulting in some taking industrial action.
Education Minister Graham Cregeen admits it's difficult to find a solution that suits all unions:
Police dealing with 'serious incident' in Ramsey
Consultation open on plans to formally recognise the heritage of Douglas Head
Drop-in session to support Isle of Man charities
Fundraiser to keep St John Ambulance emergency fleet on the road
