NASUWT calls for 'substantial' pay rise
Pay negotiations for Island teachers – between the unions and the Manx Government – are ongoing.
That's been confirmed by the Department of Education, Sport and Culture following calls from the NASUWT for a 'substantial' pay award.
The union claims teachers' pay is lagging behind the UK and other crown dependencies and staff here can’t continue to be subjected to pay freezes.
