DESC won't be enforcing attendance straight after lockdown
Anyone concerned about sending their children back to the classroom next week should get in touch with their school.
That's the advice from acting headteacher at Ramsey Grammar School Graeme Corrin.
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson confirmed his department won't be cracking down on absences immediately after lockdown is lifted.
All measures are set to be eased from Monday (1 February) marking 21 days without evidence of community spread of Covid-19.
Mr Corrin says those who don't feel ready to return yet should speak to teachers to put a plan in place:
