
The Tynwald debate on de-limiting the Isle of Man's taxi trade has been adjourned until December.
It follows an amendment put forward by recently elected member of the Legislative Council David Callister, who felt there should be full consultation on the move.
Tynwald voted by 28-3 to adjoin the motion, at the end of a two hour debate.
There was applause in the public gallery when the vote was annouced, to the apparent annoyance of the President, Noel Cringle (pictured):
