But, MHK says current situation is 'not safe'
Talks to purchase land next to a school in the south of the Island to ease congestion during rush hours are ongoing.
Education Minister Julie Edge confirmed her department has approached a landowner as it seeks to reduce the impact parents, dropping their children off, have on traffic around Arbory School.
It's hoped a drop-off area can be created so parents don't have to stop on the main road through Ballabeg.
But one of the MHKs for the area, Tim Glover, called for more urgency:
