A new survey could shed light on the extent of gambling addiction in the Isle of Man.
Up to 4,000 homes will be contacted by the National Centre for Social Research, on behalf of the Island's Alcohol Advisory Service.
GamCare Isle of Man was launched in November to provide support for problem gamblers and families locally.
The postal survey will also include information on how to get help for anyone whose life has been affected.
