Annual data gathering exercise being expanded this year
The dental health of the Isle of Man's five year olds will come under scrutiny this Spring.
A survey, to be carried out by Public Health, will take place between 22 April and 3 May.
Parents or carers of children who are five years old between those dates should receive a letter and consent form from their school.
The survey takes place annually but this year the sample will be expanded to include all five year olds on the Island, to achieve a more accurate picture of oral health in the age group.
Public Health says the information gathered will also help develop the Island's core dataset and help build a picture of the factors affecting the health and wellbeing of both children and adults.
