Support from Mayoress 'very welcome'

One of the two organisations chosen as the main beneficiaries of this year's Mayoress's Charity Appeal says it's a fantastic boost.

The Island's hyperbaric chamber has been struggling with funding in recent times, and operators say Shirley Wilson's decision to offer it financial support couldn't have come at a better time.

The other main beneficiary of the Mayoress's Charity Appeal is Arthritis Care Ellan Vannin, which is equally pleased to have been chosen.
