The Chief Minister has backed the use of awareness campaigns about binge drinking.
Professor Martin Plant from the University of West England questioned their effectiveness while he was in the Island to address a Government seminar last week.
Tony Brown agrees campaigns alone probably don't work but says they're an important part of the Government's strategy for tackling the problem (audio file attached):
