Incident happened in the early hours of this morning
Update at 6:50am: Police say the road has now reopened.
The emergency services are currently dealing with a collision on Summerhill Road in Douglas.
The route is closed from its junctions with Queens Promenade to Strathallan Road.
The closure came into force around 1.30am.
Officers are asking motorists to avoid the area where possible.
