Tourism Minister Martyn Quayle says it will be business as usual at the Gaiety Theatre next summer.
In Tynwald last week, he faced questions from Eddie Lowey, MLC, about why there had been no summer show at the Douglas venue this summer.
Mr Quayle says it's nothing to do with a lack of money, or departmental policy, simply that a show was cancelled because the organisers wanted a two-week run.
However, there will be a summer production next year:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
Too early for 'direct action' over cost-of-living concerns says chief minister
