Frozen pipes are the latest problem to be caused by the icy weather.
The Isle of Man Water and Sewerage Authority has taken around 150 calls in the last 24 hours from householders who have no water, and engineers have been working to repair three burst water mains around the Island.
The advice is to thaw the pipes slowly, to avoid any bursts, and authority chief executive John Smith says people shouldn't let any part of their homes get too cold:
