Slieau Curn Park in Kirk Michael has reopened to traffic, after an electrical fire led to most of the estate being closed.
Police took the move for safety reasons, although residents could access their properties by foot.
The fire was in an MEA sub station.
It had been thought the road would be closed until 5.30pm, but repairs were completed earlier than expected at around 4pm.
