
A local charity is welcoming efforts to bring the Disability Discrimination Act closer to implementation.
However, the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled also believes the move towards equal rights should have happened much sooner.
The act was passed by Tynwald in 2006, but has yet to be introduced.
Now off-Island consultants are looking into the likely cost and timescale of bringing it in.
