'Mind Your Head' campaign aims to break down barriers
A mental health epidemic is said to be the biggest problem facing farmers today.
Studies in the UK show 88 per cent of those working in agriculture, under the age of 40, ranked it as a major issue facing those in the sector.
The Farm Safety Foundation is running the 'Mind Your Head' campaign to help break down barriers in the discussion around mental health.
The charity's manager, Stephanie Berkley, featured on Manx Radio's Countryside programme this week.
She says if farmers aren't looking after their wellbeing the consequences could be serious:
Peel bar impacted by bus strikes
Care funding reform report delayed following ministerial change

New rights for neonatal care leave and carer's leave on the way
