
More than 100 students have demonstrated outside Tynwald this evening in protest at plans to introduce tuition fees.
Members were due to debate the proposals, which for the first time would impose a charge on Manx university students studying off-Island.
But the matter was withdrawn from the order paper last Friday after four MHKs petitioned ministers for more time for a public debate.
The students, sixth formers from Island high schools, say they want to keep the pressure up, before the fees are debated in the new year:
