Three Manx pupils benefit from Mansat scholarship
Three A level students from the Isle of Man say attending NASA's Space School remotely has given them new plans for their future education.
Joseph Dunne and Benjamin Li from Ramsey Grammar School, alongside Sophie Bell from QEII were due to attend the programme in Houston this summer, but coronavirus meant lessons took place online instead.
The annual scholarships, funded by Island firm Mansat, allow youngsters to experience a range of scientific fields.
Benjamin explains how he found studying remotely:
Education Minister Dr Alex Allinson says the space sector is important for the Island and students:
'Essential' that school staff recognise the signs of an allergic reaction
'High' risk of wildfires over the next week
'Come From Away' to continue after cast member injured during rehearsal
'Parks in worse state then when I started' says Peel commissioner
