Children from Laxey protest outside government
A student climate strike, which has been mobilised across the UK, US, Germany, and more than fifteen other countries, has now made its way to the Isle of Man.
It's thought tens of thousands of school and university students have been demonstrating - all sparked by the actions of one Swedish 16-year-old last summer.
Greta Thunberg says it's 'the beginning of great change' after her protests outside the Swedish parliament.
Greta's memorable phrase that we "cannot solve the crisis without treating it as a crisis", reflects the thinking of many, frustrated with the slow pace of progress.
It's not yet clear what impact these strikes will have.
