Popular event to be rescheduled
A popular cycle event, scheduled for tomorrow, (Sun 1st) has been called off.
The Stuart Slack Parishes Ride has been postponed, due to the poor weather forecast.
Stuart was part of the first ever Isle of Man team at the Commonwealth Games and won bronze in the road race in Cardiff in 1958.
The non-competitive event goes around the Island in the reverse direction to the Parish Walk.
Organisers say a new date for the event will be announced shortly.
