Systems now restored
Ronaldsway based Strix has been hit by a cyber attack, reportedly of Russian origin.
The company, which makes kettle safety controls, is said to have restored its systems after its servers on the Island, and in the UK, came under attack.
Strix immediately sought help from external specialists and precautionary measures were put in place.
The incident follows a recent warning of a heightened risk of cyber attacks in the Isle of Man, in the wake of global events.
