CWU reflect on settlement with IOM Post Office
A spokesperson from the union representing postmen and women on the Isle of Man says strike action is never the desired outcome, but sometimes it's a 'necessary thing to do'.
Steve Halliwell is postal executive at the Communication Workers' Union.
He made the comments following yesterday's news they had reached an agreement with the Isle of Man Post Office board over members' pay, and terms and conditions:
Residents still want to see what wind farm will look like
Construction costs on the Island 18% above UK average and comparable with Outer London
Manx residents 'will probably need to pay more' if they want universal health service
