Education minister confirms new proposals are on the table
The education minister has confirmed 'constructive talks' were the reason today's strike action was suspended.
Julie Edge says new proposals have been put forward by the NASUWT - The Teachers' Union.
She's described it as 'very productive' and a 'welcome step forward'.
The minister says the focus is now to get a resolution in the dispute's entirety:
Industrial action is still scheduled to take place in February.
