Hundreds sign online petition for smoke free zones
The leader of Douglas Council says banning smoking in the capital's high street would be tough to enforce without introducing more CCTV cameras.
It's after an online petition was created, calling for the introduction of smoke and vape-free zones between Castle Street and Duke Street.
Campaigners are concerned about the health of shoppers, who may be inhaling second-hand smoke.
More than 600 people have signed the petition, which calls on both the council and central government to consider supporting the ban to protect public health.
