Flowers and lollipops given to shoppers
Dozens of shoppers in Strand Street have been given flowers and lollipops to mark World Kindness Day.
It's an annual event which was started 20 years ago to try and make us more compassionate and connected.
Today's gesture was organised by Methodist Women in Britain and the WI.
