Predicted severe weather, with winds as strong as violent storm force eleven, has led the Steam Packet to cancel two sailings of the Ben-my-Chree.
This evening's 7.45 service to Heesham and the return crossing at 2.15am have fallen victim to the weather.
Conditions are expected to ease tomorrow morning, but the company says the 8.45am sailing from Douglas, and the return at 2.15pm could still be delayed or cancelled by gales.
A decision on these sevices will be taken later today.
