80mph winds expected to hit the Island tonight
The Isle of Man Government is urging the Manx public not to travel this evening as Storm Isha hits the Island.
Storm force winds reaching up to 80mph are expected this evening.
As a result, government is advising residents to stay at home between 8pm and midnight.
With amber weather warnings in place, government says there will likely be travel disruption, damage to property and risk of injury.
While wind speeds are expected to drop overnight, those travelling tomorrow morning are advised to take extra care as there is likely to be debris and standing water on roads and pavements.
