Police advise against non-essential travel
A number of fallen trees are causing disruption on the roads, as the Island is hit by Storm Barra.
Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for severe gales which is expected to last until 3am tomorrow (8 December).
Multiple trees have come down in the north and south of the Island and police are warning people not to go out unless absolutely necessary after two elderly residents were blown over by the strong winds.
