Police appeal for help tracing bikes stolen in Douglas area
Police believe a series of bicycles stolen over a period of several months may have been sold on social media.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is investigating a spate of thefts in the Douglas area between June and earlier this month.
Officers say a number of the bikes remain outstanding, and believe they may have been advertised and sold using Facebook Marketplace.
A video showing the stolen bicycles has been published on the Constabulary's Facebook page.
Police are investigating a series of pedal cycle thefts from the Douglas area between 08/06/2024 and 19/11/2024. A number of stolen pedal cycles remain outstanding. It is suspected that some of these cycles may have been advertised and sold on Facebook Marketplace. If you believe you are in possession of any of the stolen pedal cycles (pictured) or know of the whereabouts of any of them, please contact Police on 631212. Enquiries are ongoing at this time, and locating the pedal cycles is the priority.
