Visiting farmer says the industry needs the enthusiasm and energy of young farmers
A farmer who's been visiting the Island says it's sad to see young farmers being advised to seek work in other areas.
Rhys Williams, who runs a farm in Wales, has been discussing succession planning and navigating family transitions with Manx farmers.
It's part of a series of events run by the agriculture department looking at challenges facing the sector.
He told Manx Radio's Kirree Kermode there are opportunities for younger generations in the industry:
