Storm Barbara brings 60mph + winds
The Steam Packet has confirmed that high winds are likely to disrupt sailings in the run up to Christmas.
Storm Barbara is expected to bring winds of over 65 miles per hour over the 36 hour period from tomorrow morning, through until Christmas Eve.
The Packet says the Douglas to Heysham service from 8.45am through the rest of tomorrow (Fri) is likely to face delays or cancellations, as is the 2.15am crossing on Saturday morning.
Currently, it's hoped normal services will be able to continue from 8.15am on Christmas Eve.
