Gov't rejected £170 million offer
The chairman of the Steam Packet says its directors had nothing personal to gain from a proposed sea services deal.
Tynwald last week failed to support the company’s offer to continue running services after 2026.
Instead, politicians said they wanted to explore a range of options for potential operators.
The £170 million offer for a new strategic plan has now been withdrawn.
